National Council of Urban Indian Health Coronavirus Resource Center
NIHB is pleased to launch its COVID-19 Tribal Resource Center website with tribally-specific coronavirus-related developments, tools and information. The website has COVID-19 community health and advocacy tools, fact sheets, information about Congressional developments, and federal agency and tribal response plans. Tribal leaders, tribal health workers and administrators, tribal community members and advocates for tribal health policy are encouraged to visit the site to share resources with their respective communities and networks.
NIWRC recognizes that advocates working in local programs and shelters are facing additional challenges as they seek to continue uninterrupted services for survivors. Their site provides recommendations and resources to support survivors during this transition, including guidance for tribal programs in response to COVID-19 and survivors of sexual violence.
