Each of the college centers has a condensed library while the main branch holds approximately 50, 000 titles across program disciplines general subject, and special collections. Additionally, we support a specialized collection for the nursing department and have supported the expansion and organization of the Cheyenne River College Center library. Each staff member wears many hats that support the maintenance of analog and digital resources of thirteen libraries, cataloging, weeding, collections development, formal information literacy seminars, individual student assistance, K-12, community outreach and programming, specialized research support. Additionally, maintenance of the growing special collections in the archives upon which access is increasingly dependent on digital preservation of its assets is vital to supporting the strategic plan of OLC.
