The Photograph Collections include photographs from the Visual Identification Project (VIP), obtained from a number of repositories in the U.S. and Europe for identification or supplemental information. These photographs document the people, places and activities on the Pine Ridge Reservation, ca. 1900-1940.

Oglala Sioux Tribe (OST): Photographs received from or pertaining to the Oglala Sioux Tribe. These images range from the late 1800s to the present day and are of or about Oglala Lakota people, events and places.
